Zakopane, known as Poland’s winter capital, offers plenty of attractions for everyone. A stroll along the famous Krupówki street is a great way to experience the lively heart of the town, full of regional restaurants and souvenir shops. Mountain view enthusiasts should head to Gubałówka, where they can enjoy a panoramic view of the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane – accessible by funicular or on foot. One of the most beautiful places in the Tatras is Morskie Oko, surrounded by majestic peaks, with a picturesque trail leading to it. The Kościeliska Valley, perfect for family hikes, is also worth a visit, as well as the Wielka Krokiew ski jump – the largest in Poland.

For those seeking relaxation, we recommend Chochołowskie Termy as an additional option, where you can unwind in thermal waters with a view of the mountains. Cheese lovers should visit the oscypkarnie to taste fresh cheeses and see how they are made. Zakopane is a place that combines highlander folklore, natural beauty, and a unique atmosphere.

Information from us

For the Zakopane tour, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for both mountain trails and city walks. Layered clothing is the best choice due to the variable weather, and a rain jacket will protect you from unexpected rain. A hat and gloves may also be useful, especially during trips to higher mountain areas, where temperatures can be lower. A backpack will allow you to pack essentials like water and snacks for longer routes. It is also worth bringing an ID, as it may be required for entry to some sites, along with sunscreen and sunglasses to protect against the sun.
